Directors Corner

Mikeial Williamson, the founding camp director for Camp Rockin’ U in 2002, is excited to be back on board! Mike has been involved with Lake Francis Resort since it became part of Environmental Alternatives Foster Family Agency offerings of programs serving children and families. Mike guided Camp Rockin’ U to its first American Camp Association rating standard. He has taught for Yuba City Unified School District for 8 years and was also an assistant principal for three years. Mike earned a Bachelor’s degree from CSU Chico and a Master’s from CSU Sacramento. He is an Eagle Scout and worked on staff at Boy Scout camps for several summers, culminating in directing Glacial Trails Scout Ranch for several seasons. Mike will oversee all operations of Camp Rockin’ U to insure the best possible camping experience for all campers who attend. He will work directly with campers, staff and parents on a daily basis for he is committed to every aspect of camp life. Camp is a year round operation for Mike and he is enthusiastic about the success of kids and Camp Rockin’ U.
